Overview of Data Recovery
-Does
your computer fail to bootup?
-Does it contain critical
data?
-Don't have a recent backup?
-Reformatted your harddrive?
-Accidentally deleted files?
No Worries...PC Graphix can recover those critical data files such as digital
pictures, QuickBooks & Quicken files, emails & address book, Word, Excel
& Database files starting at just $118.95!
PC Graphix specializes in the recovery of data from harddrives that are
experiencing software related problems. Typical software related
problems can involve a corrupt operating system, a scrambled file allocation
table or master boot record, virus or spyware infestion, deleted files, a
reformatted harddrive or even a full Windows recovery.
PC Graphix cannot recover data from harddrives that have completely
failed due to a hardware related problem. You
are likely experiencing a hardware related failure if you hear a
grinding and/or clicking noise when you try to bootup your computer.
In those situations, you have no other option than to contact a data recovery service
that specializes in the recovery of data from physically failed harddrives.
Unfortunately, the cost for such services generally start at around $1,000 &
up but for good reason as this type of data recovery is very time consuming
and difficult.
Special Offer For Local Customers
Recovering your data is only half of the solution. You'll still need a
computer to work on and, in most cases, it is more cost effective to have
your computer repaired as opposed to buying a whole new system.
If you are located within the PC Graphix
service area, you are eligible
for a special Data Recovery & Computer Repair Package which includes:
- FREE onsite pickup your computer!!
- Recovery of data
- Repair of your computer
- FREE Restoration of your data!!

a FRACTION of the cost that you'd pay to have just your data
recovered by a typical data recovery service!

What Should I Do When My
Computer Won't Bootup?
If your computer fails to bootup AND it contains "critical
data", then it is crucial that you heed the following:
- Backup Your Data. If you manage to get your computer booted
up, immediately backup your data to an external storage device.
- Make note of any error messages, unusual
sounds (such as harddrive clicking or grinding), lights on the PC, at
what point in the boot process does it stop, experience a lightning
strike, etc.
- Unusual Noises? If your computer makes a grinding or clicking sound when attempting
to bootup, leave it turned off. Continued attempts to restart can lead to
permanent data loss!
- DO NOT reformat your harddrive as that will lead to data
loss.
- DO NOT attempt a Windows system recovery if you aren't sure
of what you are doing. Choosing the wrong recovery option will
erase your harddrive and all of its data.

situation
Data Recovery Pricing
Rev. 1/20/07
Data Recovery starts with a $99.00 evaluation of your harddrive. This
evaluation examines the cause of failure (software or hardware), condition of the harddrive and
what data, if any, can be retrieved. This fee is non-refundable.
Once it is determined that data can be recovered, you'll be contacted by PC
Graphix to review the data files that need to be recovered. The cost of recovery is based on the
total Megabytes of data to be recovered per the following table.

Once your data has been recovered, it must be transferred to a suitable storage
media and returned to you. The cost depends on the storage
media used:
| Data Transfer |
Cost |
| Data Copied Back To Repaired Computer |
Free1 |
| CD-ROM or DVD-ROM |
$19.95/each2 |
| Zip File via Email |
$7.95/file3 |
1If you choose to have your computer repaired by PC Graphix,
your data will be copied back to the computer following repair at
no add't charge. This service is only available to
local customers.
2Cost includes the transfer of recovered
data to the desired media as well as the cost to ship it back to
you.
3Having your recovered data emailed to you in a zip
file is the fastest way to get your data back. Due to email
limitations, a zip file is limited to 10 MB/file. Therefore, multiple zip files
may be required depending on the amount of data you
had recovered. |

|
| Optional Services |
|
| Data Eradication1 |
$149.95 |
| Return of Harddrive2 |
$15.00 |
1Data eradication (also
called harddrive erasing) involves overwritting the entire harddrive
with 1's & 0's thus rendering any future data recovery attempts
impossible. This service is ideal when the harddrive is to be
returned to the manufacture as part of a warranty replacement.
This ensures that no one else could gain access to your sensitive
data. Price includes the shipping cost to return the harddrive
to the customer.
2Cost to have your harddrive
shipped back to you. In many cases, the harddrive is not
re-usable so most customers do not choose to have the harddrive
shipped back them. |
